About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized, proactive, and resourceful Executive Assistant to provide direct support to a fast-moving entrepreneur overseeing multiple companies. This role requires someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, is comfortable managing complex calendars and communications, and can anticipate needs before they arise.

The right candidate will be more than just task-oriented; they will step up as a trusted partner — helping implement systems, protecting priorities, and freeing up executive time to focus on growth. Over time, this role may expand into client-facing opportunities, including workshop facilitation if it speaks to your strengths. Salary: $50k-$80k + bonus & benefits.

Location: Remote (Lincoln, NE area preferred, with occasional local travel)

Schedule: Full-time (40–50 hours/week), flexible hours with some evenings and rare long days

Travel: Occasional (about once every 60 days)

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage executive’s calendar, inbox, travel, and meeting logistics
  • Ensure high responsiveness and same-day follow-up on emails and requests
  • Support in-person and virtual meetings by taking notes, coordinating action items, and sending professional summaries
  • Assist with event coordination, including client workshops and training sessions
  • Handle special projects, research, and vendor coordination
  • Support with light personal tasks (appointments, errands, family logistics, etc.)
  • Maintain discretion and confidentiality with sensitive business and personal matters
  • Leverage technology and AI tools to increase efficiency and productivity

Must-Have Qualifications

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail
  • Proactive, self-directed, and forward-thinking — able to anticipate needs
  • Comfortable presenting or facilitating in front of small groups
  • Excellent time management and follow-through
  • Adaptable and eager to learn new technologies (especially AI tools)

Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Project management experience
  • Event planning or coordination
  • Light financial management/bookkeeping experience
  • Training or facilitation background (ideal if interested in future workshop facilitation, but not required)

Why This Opportunity

This is more than a traditional executive assistant position — it’s a chance to be at the center of strategy, growth, and decision-making across multiple businesses. You’ll gain exposure to high-level leaders and projects while working in an environment that values results, trust, and flexibility over rigid schedules.

For someone with a training or facilitation background, there’s an especially exciting potential to grow into leading workshops currently handled by the executive. That said, this is not a requirement — if your true strength lies in being an exceptional EA, you’ll be valued in that role long term, and another person can be hired to take over workshops down the road.

The key is finding someone who thrives on responsibility, growth, and partnership. If that’s you, this is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact while building a career you’re excited about.
