Position Summary 

Provides administrative support for the Executive Team and the Board of Directors. Handles a wide variety of critical, time-sensitive, and confidential situations and materials. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties as assigned.                  

  • Serves as primary administrative liaison for the Board of Directors and its various subcommittees, working at the direction of the CEO to prepare for, document, and follow up on meetings and other Board interactions 
  • Understands the priorities of the CEO and other Executive Team members, managing calendars, monitoring communications, arranging travel, and assisting in commitments accordingly 
  • Facilitates the weekly Executive Team meeting with responsibility for preparing the agenda and ensuring follow-up items are completed 
  • Individually or as part of a team, plans and coordinates events hosted by the Executive Team for groups of various sizes and facilitates Executive Team participation in external events, such as volunteer activities, charitable initiatives, and more 
  • Manages formal complaints received via regulatory entities or other avenues, including ensuring responses are prepared and submitted within required timeframes 
  • Cross trains others on administrative support for the Executive Team and maintains SOPs for executive administration 
  • Upholds credit union policies and procedures and champions organizational culture both internally and externally

 

Supervisory Responsibilities

May direct the work of others but does not have management responsibilities.

Qualifications

In addition, individuals in this role must be:

  • Experienced in basic governance and board meetings, including Robert’s Rules of Order, taking minutes, building board books, etc. 
  • Proactive, organized, and detail-oriented. 
  • Experienced in maintaining confidentiality and exhibiting sound judgment; 
  • Excellent communicators in writing, via video, and in person; and 
  • Capable of working a flexible schedule, including occasional weekends and evenings as necessary 

 

Education and/or Experience                                                            

Ten or more years of applicable experience is required.

 

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations 

Individuals must be a Notary Public, or capable of becoming one, and must be bondable by a credit union.

 

Software and Equipment Requirements

To perform this job successfully, an individual must have knowledge of and be proficient in the use of a personal computer and Microsoft Office software. Proficiency with Board Effect is helpful, but not required.

Must have reliable internet access of 50MBPS which is the minimum speed required to connect to several of our systems and platforms.

Starting Pay & Benefits

This role offers a salary of $75,000-$90,000. It also entails the benefits available to all Amplify employees, including a 401(k) with a company match of 100% on the first 5% you contribute.

 

Location

This is a hybrid role located in the Austin area. Individuals must be capable of working from Amplify’s headquarters location 1 - 2 days per week and other locations in and around the Austin area as needed for events. When working remote, individuals must have reliable internet access of at least 50MBPS.
