YOUR ROLE: The News Writer is responsible for writing timely, compelling, and well-researched stories on legislation, elections, and policy issues impacting Catholics in public life. Stories may also include religion and Church news. In addition to daily reporting, this role includes the critical duty of formatting and sending The LOOP, CatholicVoteās flagship daily newsletter, ensuring it is delivered with accuracy, clarity, and punctuality. You will work closely with the editor-in-chief and political editor to maintain high journalistic standards and a distinctly Catholic voice in all content. This position is fully remote, but candidates must be located in the Western U.S., Alaska, or Hawaii.
