The Impact You’ll Make in this Role

As an Executive Assistant, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world.

Here, you will make an impact by:

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Vice President (1) and Sr Directors (2), including managing calendars, scheduling meetings, and coordinating travel arrangements.
  • Prepare and edit correspondence, reports, presentations, and other documents as needed.
  • Act as a liaison between the  leaders and internal/external stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and timely follow-up.
  • Responsible for managing and processing purchase orders, ensuring accurate and timely order fulfillment, coordinating with vendors and internal teams, and maintaining up-to-date records of procurement activities to support operational efficiency.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of special projects and initiatives related to commercial transformation.
  • Conduct research and gather data to support decision-making processes.
  • Experience in organizing events, meetings, and conferences.
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Manage expense reports and assist with budget tracking.
  • Organize and maintain files, records, and documentation.
  • Oversee the onboarding and offboarding processes for employees, ensuring a smooth transition for new hires and departing staff.
  • Assists in project management coordination efforts where needed, leveraging innovative AI tools and technologies, as well as project management system
  • Helps identify and utilize new technology and tools the team can leverage to increase efficiency and project/operation success, such as AI agent creation and other AI tools

Your Skills and Expertise 
To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher AND four years of professional experience in an administrative capacity
  • OR
  • High School Diploma/GED from AND six years of professional experience in an administrative capacity

AND

In addition to the above requirements, the following are also required:

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High level of professionalism and discretion.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

  • Familiarity with various software and tools, Workday, Salesforce, Oracle, SAP, Concur and advanced Excel functions.
  • Knowledge of AI tools and AI agent creation.
  • Ability to anticipate issues and find effective solutions quickly.
  • Strong ability to build relationships and work collaboratively with diverse teams.
  • Flexibility to handle changing priorities and unexpected tasks.
  • Precision in managing tasks, documents, and communications.
  • Basic understanding of budgeting, financial reporting, and expense management.
  • Skills in planning, executing, and monitoring projects to ensure they are completed on time and within scope.
