About The Role
Players Health is seeking a Designer/Copywriter to join our growing marketing team and bring our brand to life through compelling visuals and clear, engaging copy. Reporting to the Head of Integrated Marketing, this role will be responsible for producing content across digital, social, email, and presentation decks, ensuring all creative aligns with brand guidelines and supports campaign objectives.
The ideal candidate will bring 2+ years of experience in design and/or copywriting, with a strong portfolio that demonstrates versatility across mediums. This role is well-suited for a creative professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys balancing design and storytelling, and takes pride in delivering polished, on-brand work.
As part of a remote-first, distributed workforce, this position offers flexibility to work remotely or in a hybrid capacity near our employee hub (Minneapolis, MN) or in a state where Players Health employs staff unless approved otherwise. Travel may be required for partner activations, events, and team collaboration. The Designer/Copywriter role has a compensation range of $26.00 - $40.00 per hour, depending on skills and experience.

Responsibilities (are inclusive of but not limited to):
- Develop and execute creative assets across digital channels including social media, email campaigns, website, and presentation decks.
- Write clear, engaging, and brand-aligned copy for marketing materials, product messaging, and partner activations.
- Collaborate with the Head of Integrated Marketing and cross-functional teams to support campaign objectives and brand consistency.
- Maintain and evolve brand guidelines to ensure cohesive visual and verbal identity across all touch points.
- Translate complex ideas into visually compelling and easy-to-understand designs and narratives.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines in a fast-paced, remote-first environment.
- Support internal communications and sales enablement efforts with polished presentations and collateral.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas to elevate brand storytelling.
- Assist in preparing creative assets for partner events and activations, including occasional travel for on-site support.

Minimum Skills & Qualifications:
- 2+ years of professional experience in graphic design, copywriting, or a hybrid creative role.
- Strong portfolio showcasing versatility across design and copy mediums (e.g., digital, print, social, presentations).
- Excellent writing and editing skills with a keen eye for grammar, tone, and clarity.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote-first environment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail.
- Familiarity with brand development and integrated marketing campaigns.
- Comfortable with occasional travel for events, activations, or team collaboration.
- Experience in sports, health, or mission-driven organizations is a plus.
- Strong emotional intelligence skills.

Desired Characteristics
- Although not required, a Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field

Additional Requirements:
- Ability to travel occasionally for team events, collaboration, engagement, conferences, or customer visits

- Willingness and ability to attend virtual meetings with camera on – we respect that there are times when employees may need to turn their camera off.
