The Medicare market is a conditioned one: folks don’t know Medicare shopping can be easier, and they don’t trust yet that what we have to offer isn’t too good to be true. That’s where you come in: we’re looking for a curious, collaborative copywriter to help us build brand trust in the wild and strengthen our relationship with our customers, current and future.

 

A member of Healthpilot’s Growth team, you will be responsible for executing copy across all of our marketing and customer touchpoints. The right candidate is a clever wordsmith, but never sacrifices clarity for style. Your main job will be writing, but we’re also looking for someone with Creative Director ambitions and a mind for strategy. We’re a scrappy team with big dreams, and we need another superstar player to join our ranks and help us build the future of Medicare shopping.

 

In this role, you will:

  • Own all the words in the Healthpilot ecosystem across both marketing and customer experience touchpoints
  • Support our lifecycle marketing operations lead in crafting messages throughout the Medicare shopping journey
  • Help identify winning messaging across paid and organic channels, including but not limited to website, blog, paid and organic media, paid search, landing pages, email, SMS, referral partner communications, and agent communications copy
  • Partner with the rest of the growth marketing team to craft and execute content strategies that A/B test copy across touchpoints
  • Help define and execute our brand tone of voice, spearheading the Healthpilot Editorial Style guide that immortalizes how we communicate to current and future customers
  • Support our product team in crafting UX messages throughout our product experience that are both customer-informed and brand-aligned
  • Partner with our marketing agency to vet all drafted copy
  • Ensure all copy is clear, compliant, brand-aligned, and easy to comprehend for seniors

What we’re looking for:

  • 3-5+ years of experience in copywriting (or equivalent writing skills), preferably with B2C experience creating customer-driven copy. Experience in healthcare or marketing to senior populations a plus but not required
  • Exceptional writing skills, with a knack for creating clarity out of complexity
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with our marketing agency, product, and design teams
  • Comfort working in a highly-regulated environment
  • Familiarity with Medicare, health insurance regulations, and compliance (a plus but not required)
  • A growth-mindset with ambitious career goals
