Content Writer

pawaTech is looking for an experienced Content Writer with a strong understanding of betting and iGaming. You will create engaging, accurate, and publish-ready content across betPawa markets, covering everything from landing pages and articles to social media, campaigns, and product microcopy.

We are looking for someone who can take a brief and turn it into high-quality content with minimal revision, while confidently applying betPawa’s tone of voice, style, and compliance requirements across different audiences, channels, and markets.

Compensation range: €3000 - €3300 full contractual monthly pay.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Writing high-quality content across multiple formats, including landing pages, articles, social media captions, banners, campaign copy, and product microcopy;
• Taking content briefs and turning them into clear, engaging drafts that are close to publish-ready;
• Adapting tone and messaging for different audiences, channels, and markets;
• Applying betPawa’s tone of voice, style guidelines, and compliance requirements consistently;
• Managing multiple assignments and delivering content within deadlines, including quick-turnaround tasks;
• Working closely with the content team and responding constructively to editorial feedback;
• Applying not only requested edits but also the reasoning behind feedback to continuously improve future content;
• Writing confidently and accurately about sportsbook and casino products, features, odds, and betting mechanics.

What Makes You a Great Candidate:

• 3+ years of professional content writing or copywriting experience;
• Excellent written English and a strong command of grammar, structure, and style;
• Strong understanding of betting and iGaming, including sportsbook and casino mechanics, betting terminology, odds, and product features;
• Proven ability to write effectively across different content formats and audiences;
• Ability to deliver high-quality drafts that require minimal revision;
• Comfortable working to deadlines and handling quick-turnaround tasks;
• Responsive to editorial feedback and able to apply it constructively;
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow brand, style, and compliance guidelines consistently.

Extra Expertise We Appreciate:

• Experience writing within a regulated industry, such as betting, gaming, finance, or a similar field;
• Familiarity with African markets and audiences;
• Understanding of SEO principles and writing content for search;
• Experience creating content for multiple markets or international audiences;
• Additional language skills, particularly French or Portuguese.
