Description of Duties:

We are seeking a skilled User Testing Scenario Writer to contribute to the successful implementation of a new child welfare application. You will work closely with researchers and testers to create comprehensive business test scenarios based on user stories, blueprints, and business process documentation. Your scenarios will help testers confirm the system meets the needs of child welfare professionals and adheres to relevant regulations.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop detailed and comprehensive user test scenarios based on provided documentation (user stories, building blocks, milestones, blueprints, designs).
  • Collaborate with the project team to understand and interpret child welfare business processes.
  • Ensure test scenarios cover all aspects of functionality and user workflows.
  • Maintain clear and organized documentation of test scenarios.
  • Contribute to the overall quality assurance process.

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Experience with User Acceptance Testing (UAT) methodologies, preferred.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce, Jira, and MS Teams, preferred.
  • Experience with System Integration (SI) engagements, preferred.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to interpret business documentation and translate it into actionable test scenarios.
  • Experience working with user stories and other agile project documentation is highly desirable.
  • Experience in the child welfare field or with similar complex systems is a plus.
  • Able to perform more varied and difficult tasks.
  • Work as a topmost trusted partner with aFit and the client.
  • Provide attention to details.

Working Schedule and Travel:

Remote in PST time zone & occasional paid travel to Sacramento, CA.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
