Job Description

WHAT DOES THE SENIOR COPYWRITER, MARKET ACCESS DO?

The Senior Copywriter, Market Access is responsible to provide full copy support for assigned agency accounts. Job responsibilities include researching and developing material for multiple pharmaceutical clients and biotech business projects, writing on a broad range of therapeutic areas and managed markets topics. 

The Senior Copywriter is also expected to perform independent research and to work with a variety of scientific materials to develop a range of pieces for payers and other managed markets stakeholders (health systems, PBMs, employers), as well as sales force training pieces and resources related to market access (eg, reimbursement) for patients and healthcare professionals. 

  • Performs independent research and develops a variety of market access materials, such as message development, payer value propositions, PIE decks, launch materials (formulary kits), pull-through materials, implementation guides, rep-triggered email for HCPs/payers, competitive grids, etc. 

  • Proactively monitors the progress of assigned projects through each phase of development (eg, research, outline, manuscript, layout, claim check, production) 

  • Annotates according to agency guidelines and provides/maintains annotated reference documents 

  • Maintains a reasonable library of own reference material relating to assigned clients 

  • Works with confidential and sensitive corporate, client, and employee information and conducts him/herself accordingly

Qualifications

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

Education 

  • BA in English or life sciences

Experience and/or Training 

  • One to 3 years of managed care and/or market access writing experience 

  • Two to 4 years of agency/ healthcare writing experience (Senior Copywriter) 

  • Working knowledge of medical terminology and a strong command of the English language 

  • Proficient in American Medical Association (AMA) style 

  • Familiarity with FDA/OPDP regulations and guidelines 

  • Strong verbal communication and presentation skills 

  • Attention to detail 

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to learn quickly 

  • Ability to think both creatively and strategically 

  • High-level interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills 

  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively

EVERSANA is committed to providing competitive salaries and benefits for all employees. The anticipated base salary range for this position is $88,000 to $131,000 and is not applicable to locations outside of the U.S. The base salary range represents the low and high end of the salary range for this position. Compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, other job-related qualifications/skills, and geographic location (to account for comparative cost of living). EVERSANA reserves the right to modify this base salary range at any time.
