Senior Copywriter – CRM

Our team thrives at the intersection of craft, strategy, and digital innovation, and we're looking for a Senior Copywriter who believes words have the power to stop a scroll, open an email, or turn a stranger into a loyal customer. In this role, you'll bring brand stories to life across the full digital ecosystem: email, web, SMS/MMS, social, display, and scripted video. You'll write with purpose and precision, shaping narratives that feel personal at scale, and you'll do it with a deep understanding of how copy performs differently across every channel and format.
Responsibilities:
CRM & Campaign Copywriting
- Write clear, persuasive, on-brand copy across CRM channels — email, SMS, MMS, push notifications, landing pages, and direct mail — for Fortune 500 clients across multiple industries
- Partner with designers, strategists, and analysts to translate data insights and customer behavior into resonant messaging that drives engagement and conversion
- Support the creation of promotions, gamification mechanics, and loyalty program communications that deepen customer relationships
Sales Enablement Storytelling
- Craft narrative-driven copy for sales decks, pitch presentations, one-pagers, and battlecards that help the sales team advance and close deals
- Translate Zeta’s data assets, AI capabilities, and client outcomes into compelling stories tailored to C-suite and marketing decision-makers
- Develop messaging frameworks that clearly articulate Zeta’s value proposition and competitive differentiation across buyer segments
- Write and refine copy for bespoke demo experiences — including custom email previews, annotated platform flows, and supporting sales narratives
Video Scripts & Demo Copy
- Write scripts for sizzle videos, platform walkthroughs, and sales demo recordings that are visually adaptable and narratively precise
- Develop digital copy supporting live and recorded sales demos.
- Collaborate with creative and production teams to ensure scripts translate cleanly from page to screen, balancing technical accuracy with accessibility

- Comfortable in client-facing settings: presenting, pitching, and defending creative in a professional and persuasive way
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated expertise writing for CRM channels — email, SMS, push notifications, and landing pages are a strong plus
- Proven experience with sales enablement copy — decks, scripts, one-pagers, demo narratives, and pitch materials
- Video script writing experience required; familiarity with production processes and how scripts translate to screen is a plus
- Ability to learn and accurately communicate the capabilities of complex marketing technology platforms
- Strong verbal communication skills; comfortable and confident presenting to clients and senior internal stakeholders
- Experience working in a fully remote, fast-paced environment with cross-functional teams
- Portfolio demonstrating range across campaign copy, long-form narrative, scripts, platform storytelling, and/or sales enablement materials
Requirements:
- 7+ years of professional copywriting experience in digital marketing, agency, in-house brand, or SaaS/MarTech environments
- Bachelor's degree in English, journalism, advertising, communications, or a related field — or equivalent professional experience
- Deep understanding of the customer journey and the role compelling copy plays in driving engagement, conversion, and brand loyalty at every touchpoint
- Portfolio that showcases strategic range: brand copy, performance copy, scripts, and sales or platform storytelling
- Strong communicator and collaborator, comfortable presenting and defending creative concepts to internal stakeholders and clients alike
- Proven ability to mentor team members, contribute to team creative culture, and elevate the work of those around them

SALARY RANGE
The salary range for this role is $80,000 - $95,000.00, depending on location and experience.
