RPG Writer

We are seeking a creative and experienced RPG Writer to join our team. As an RPG Writer, you will be responsible for crafting monthly adventure modules compatible with the 5th Edition of Dungeons & Dragons (D&D), utilizing the miniatures associated with that month's set. Your role will involve creating engaging narratives, developing stat blocks, designing maps, and formatting the adventure layout. Proficiency in using the Homebrewery site is required, but a willingness to learn it is also acceptable or alternatively proficiency in InDesign.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop engaging and immersive adventure modules compatible with D&D 5e.
- Create detailed stat blocks for characters, creatures, and NPCs.
- Design maps that enhance gameplay and storytelling.
- Structure the adventure layout for easy readability and playability.
- Collaborate closely with the art director and concept art team to align adventure ideas with miniature sets.
- Ensure each adventure module aligns with the overall theme and style of the miniatures.

- Implement necessary revisions.

Qualifications:

- Prior experience as an RPG Writer is essential.
- A portfolio showcasing past RPG adventure modules or similar work is required for consideration.
- Expert proficiency in D&D 5th Edition rules and mechanics.
- Knowledge of the Pathfinder rule set is a strong plus but not required.
- Strong creativity and storytelling skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work within a 30-day turnaround time.
