Key Responsibilities
· Own the end-to-end proposal document, collaborating with internal stakeholders to gather, write, edit, and finalize content.
· Independently manage Low to Medium Complexity bids.
· Translate technical content into clear, compelling, and audience-appropriate language that resonates with both business and IT stakeholders.
· Ensure consistency, clarity, and impact across all proposal deliverables by reviewing, editing, and standardizing inputs from multiple contributors.
· Identify content gaps, ask the right questions, and proactively source missing information to complete the story.
· Synthesize diverse stakeholder inputs into a cohesive, solution-focused response aligned with customer needs and win themes.
· Build and maintain a library of reusable proposal content including templates, executive summaries, case studies, and reference materials.
· Develop and maintain strong working relationships with Bid Managers, Solution Architects, Offering Leads, and other contributors.
· Provide editing, proofreading, and quality control support for internal and customer-facing documentation.
· Contribute to the development of proposal best practices, style guides, templates, and process improvements.
What You'll Do
· Review and polish internal and customer-facing documents, including RFPs, RFIs, , and sales collateral.
· Ensure proposal structure and style follow corporate standards and customer expectations.
· Work with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to ensure accuracy of technical and business content.
· Deliver documents on tight timelines while maintaining high standards for quality and consistency.
· Drive document strategy and storytelling elements, helping to shape compelling narratives that differentiate the organization.
· Use critical thinking to identify and solve problems in written material; implement creative and strategic solutions.
· Actively contribute to continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to streamline content development or reuse.
· Create new boilerplate content proactively.
What You Need to Succeed
Must-Have Qualifications
· 5+ years of experience in proposal writing or a comparable role in a professional services or IT environment.
· Grasp of IT concepts, solutions, and terminology; able to understand and interpret technical input.
· Exceptional written English skills, including grammar, syntax, style, and tone.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat; familiarity with version control and collaboration tools.
· Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing deadlines.
· Experience working in online or networked document repositories (e.g., SharePoint, Responsive, Loopio).
· Detail-oriented with outstanding organizational and communication skills.
· Demonstrated ability to build rapport with a wide range of internal stakeholders and manage inputs from various teams.
· Able to work independently or collaboratively across time zones and virtual teams.
· Comfortable working under pressure with short turnaround times.
· Comfortable leveraging AI tools to accelerate drafting, summarizing, or content mining
Nice-to-Have Qualifications
· Degree in English, Communications, Journalism, Technical Writing, or a related discipline.
· APMP Foundation or Practitioner certification, or other relevant credentials (PMI, ITIL).
· Exposure to capture planning, win strategies, or business development processes.
· Familiarity with public sector procurement processes and compliance-heavy RFPs.
· Bilingual in English, French and or Japanese is highly desirable.
· Experience using AI writing or automation tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Co-Pilot, Responsive, Autogen AI or Qorus Docs).
· Experience Collaborating with Global Teams.
· Familiarity with Fujitsu products and services.
