The Marketing Copywriting Manager leads the development of consumer-oriented creative and establishes high-quality, strategic copy direction across online and offline channels. This role is responsible for shaping brand-aligned, compliant messaging that supports consumer engagement and advances the Empower brand. The Marketing Copywriting Manager partners closely with designers, internal stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to deliver compelling advertising and educational materials while ensuring adherence to brand standards, creative briefs, and regulatory requirements.
What you will do:
- Provides creative leadership by originating and shaping copy direction for major consumer-facing campaigns across digital and print channels.
- Establishes and maintains brand voice, tone, and messaging standards across all consumer-oriented materials.
- Writes and oversees copy development for promotional vehicles, including print advertisements, banner ads, brochures, websites, splash pages, and educational materials.
- Translates marketing strategy and Creative Briefs into clear, persuasive, and effective consumer messaging.
- Reviews and elevates copy produced by other writers to ensure consistency, quality, and adherence to brand and regulatory standards.
- Partners closely with designers throughout the creative process to ensure concepts and execution meet or exceed Creative Brief objectives.
- Collaborates with Account Executives, Designers, Traffic, Studio, Compliance, and internal clients to deliver high-quality results.
- Ensures all creative adheres to approved Creative Briefs, Empower brand standards, and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Presents and sells creative concepts to internal stakeholders and incorporates feedback while maintaining creative integrity.
- Identifies and resolves creative, brand, or compliance risks early in the development process.
- Maintains smooth workflow and executional excellence through strong organization, prioritization, and adherence to timelines.
What you will bring:
- Bachelorβs degree, preferably in communications, journalism, or a related field.
- 7+ years of progressive advertising or marketing copywriting experience.
- Proven success leading copy development for high-impact or multi-channel campaigns.
- Thorough understanding of regulatory requirements for consumer marketing.
- Strong working knowledge of PC and MAC platforms.
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills with the ability to influence stakeholders.
- Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong team orientation with the ability to guide and mentor peers without direct authority.

Base Salary Range
$96,100.00 - $135,700.00
