As a copywriter, you’ll work side-by-side with the industry’s most talented creators and contribute to projects for one of the world’s top brands. We’re looking for a wordsmith who values storytelling and relentlessly refines their copy craft.
You will be working for a global entertainment company, and we are looking for a writer with experience of digital entertainment/video games.
On any given day you might:
- Write engaging copy, headlines, taglines and calls to action.
- Manage the quality of copywriting deliverables, ensuring they meet R/GA standards and client expectations.
- Apply tone of voice guidelines, ensuring copy is on brand, strategically sound and striving for creative excellence.
- Concept and collaborate with creative teams, including other copywriters, experience designers, art directors and programmers.
The ideal person:
- Has strong experience, knowledge and examples of writing in various styles across digital (particularly CRM and web) with an irreverent, playful tone.
- Is skilled at crafting and tailoring copy for different touchpoints across multichannel, connected, and end-to-end user journeys.
- Has a strong portfolio with engaging copy.
- Is an expert editor and proofreader with meticulous attention to detail.
- Can juggle multiple projects and tasks at once.
- Has a positive, can-do attitude that fosters momentum.
- Is an energetic and motivated self-starter.
- Perseveres despite obstacles and has the ability to adapt on the fly.
- Has a mature mindset who takes constructive criticism with ease and grace.
- Has a collaborative work ethic.
- Has an interest in video games and possibly experience writing copy within the industry.
As an individual you bring:
- 3-7 years’ experience in tech, digital, or video games industry.
- A portfolio that has examples of meaningful and memorable work.
