We’ve scaled into a nine-figure business by testing everything — ads, funnels, offers, landing pages — and doubling down on what works.
We’re now looking for a Direct-Response Copywriter to join our Growth team. This isn’t about writing one perfect landing page. It’s about constantly researching, testing, and iterating copy, messaging, structure, and offers to beat the control and unlock meaningful lifts in conversion, AOV, and revenue.
What You’ll Do
Research & Experimentation
- Constantly research customer insights from reviews, ad comments, surveys, competitor funnels, Reddit threads, and customer interviews.
- Collaborate with the Growth, CRO, and Creative teams to generate test ideas for messaging, structure, style, and offers.
- Treat every landing page or funnel as a hypothesis to beat the control, not a finished product.
Landing Pages & Funnels
- Write and iterate copy for high-converting landing pages and funnels, including:
- Sales pages
- Advertorials
- Listicles
- Hybrid PDPs
- Quizzes
- Upsells/cross-sells & checkout flows
- Work hand-in-hand with the Growth LP Designer and CRO Strategist to test different styles, structures, and flows — from short punchy advertorials to long-form persuasion pieces.
Offers & Conversion Strategy
- Partner with the team to frame, test, and refine irresistible offers (bundles, subscriptions, guarantees, urgency).
- Write multiple variations of headlines, hooks, and CTAs designed for rapid testing.
- Balance direct-response copywriting with brand voice and premium feel.
Growth Path (Future Scope)
- While your core focus will be on eCom/CRO/growth funnels and landing pages, over time you may expand into a broader Lead Copywriter role supporting:
- Retention (email/SMS flows & campaigns)
- Paid creative (ad hooks, scripts, headlines)
- Brand & product messaging
- Amazon/eMarketplace content
- Establishing copy best practices across the org
Requirements - 4+ years writing direct-response copy for DTC/eCommerce brands or agencies.
- Portfolio of landing pages/funnels with examples like advertorials, listicles, sales pages, quizzes, or upsells.
- Proven record of driving conversion lifts through copy testing.
- Experience collaborating with designers, CRO strategists, and media buyers.
- Deep knowledge of conversion psychology, funnel flows, and offer positioning.
- A “test everything” mentality — you don’t believe in perfect copy, only in finding what works best.
