JerseySTEM is a mission-driven professional network of pro-bono contributors dedicated to improving access to STEM education and career pathways for underserved middle school girls in New Jersey.
Members contribute their professional skills and leverage their networks in service of the organizationās gender-equity agenda.
Membership is aĀ minimum six-month commitment of approximately six flexible hours per weekĀ and includes a $100 refundable deposit, returned after six months of active membership. Kā12 educators, retirees, veterans, interns, and students are exempt from the deposit.
JERSEYSTEM is a grassroots 501(c) nonprofit organization dedicated to bringing Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (āSTEMā) education to 5th-8th grade girls in New Jersey underserved communities.
We partner with socially responsible companies and their employees, youth organizations in underserved communities, and civic-minded college students and universities. Together we develop and deliver innovative, hands-on, and online after school projects and inquiry-based learning opportunities that develop teamwork, 21st-century problem-solving skills, and self-esteem.
