About the role
We’re looking for a conversion-driven copywriter who can crank out words that move the needle. If you’ve only written “cute” brand fluff, this isn’t for you.
You’ll be writing:
● Google Search ads that convert.
● Facebook and YouTube ads that hook in the first line.
● Landing pages that keep bounce rates in check.
● Video scripts, emails, and native ads that sell.
Key responsibilities
● Develop engaging ad copy for search, video, and beyond, to drive consumer conversions
● Craft messaging that resonates across various platforms, including social media, display, and native campaigns.
● Monitor and analyze key performance metrics to improve ad effectiveness.
● Conduct experimentation to review and optimize ad performance.
● Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in video advertising and social media marketing.
Qualifications
● 2-3 years of experience in copywriting, specifically for video scripts, search ads, and email ads that convert.
● Strong understanding of key metrics that drive ad performance and the ability to analyze and act on data.
● Proven expertise in regulated industries. Insurance preferred.
● Ability to dig into keyword research, testing, and CRO like it’s second nature.
● Track record of direct response wins (leads, clicks, revenue — not “engagement”).
● Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
● Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
● Proficiency in using modern marketing tools and software.
● Creative thinker with the ability to develop innovative ad concepts.
