Our client is seeking a skilled copywriter with a strong editorial background—preferably with experience in real estate, property management, or community development—to help refresh and align their core communications. The candidate should be capable of evolving an existing brand voice into something more practical and people-focused.

Scope

  • Duration: Short-term engagement, approximately 4–6 weeks
  • Commitment: ~100 hours total
  • Start: As early as next week, pending proposal selection
  • Time Zone: Eastern Time preferred, but flexible

Responsibilities

  • Rewrite the clients’ brand guide, keeping existing structure but updating tone and language
  • Refresh all website copy to reflect new leadership vision and ensure tone consistency across pages
  • Simplify and clarify key messaging to enhance accessibility and audience alignment
  • Ensure all web content is SEO-optimized while remaining human and approachable
  • Deliver additional content as needed, such as short descriptions, project overviews, and community stories

Skills and Qualifications

  • Proven experience in copywriting and editing for web and branding
  • Familiarity with real estate, property management, or community development
  • Strong understanding of brand voice development and consistency
  • Demonstrated SEO writing expertise
  • Ability to translate complex ideas into clear, accessible language
  • Experience working from existing materials with limited need for strategic direction
