The Bid List Data Entry Researcher is responsible for analyzing planholder lists, bid lists, and construction project data to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and reliability of information within our platform. This role directly supports contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers by maintaining high-quality data that drives meaningful project connections.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, information-heavy environment.
What you'll be doing:
- Analyze GC planholder lists and bid lists to identify, extract, and interpret relevant contractor and project information.
- Parse and structure data accurately before entering it into internal systems.
- Ensure data quality and consistency by reviewing information for completeness, accuracy, and adherence to internal standards.
- Conduct secondary research to confirm project award status, including awarded contractors, timelines, and verification sources.
- Update and maintain records as new information becomes available to ensure bid and award data remains up to date.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve data discrepancies and support cross-functional data quality needs.
- Contribute to ongoing data cleanup projects and process improvement initiatives.
What you'll need to be successful:
- 1–3 years of experience in research, data entry, construction administration, or a similar detail-oriented role.
- Experience with Google Suite, HubSpot, and internet-based research systems.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to analyze documents and extract key information.
- Comfortable communicating with stakeholders via email and phone.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple research tasks and meet monthly quotas.
- Construction industry experience or familiarity is a plus but not required.

This role is eligible for an annual base salary of $40,000 - $45,000, based on experience. In addition, the position is eligible for variable compensation tied to individual performance, and paid on a quarterly basis.
